Optical data implies a null simultaneity test theory parameter in rotating frames

چکیده

The simultaneity framework describes the relativistic interaction of time with space. two major proposed frameworks are differential simultaneity, in which is offset distance “moving” or rotating frames for each “stationary” observer, and absolute not distance. We use Mansouri Sexl test theory to analyze absence spacetime curvature. has four parameters. Three parameters describe effects. fourth parameter, [Formula: see text], was described as a convention on clock synchronization. show that text] convention, but instead descriptor whose value can be determined from extent anisotropy unidirectional one-way speed light. In frames, light by Sagnac effect equation. published equations form series based kinematics framework. Only conventional equation, its associated isotropic two-way light, found match high-resolution optical data. Using we null implies simultaneity. Introducing empirical parameter values into generates rotational Lorentz transformation, implying this transformation accurately

Relativity in rotating frames

A common error, originally due to Ehrenfest, is corrected. Typeset using REVTEX 1 A recent book [1] with the same title as above contains 17 articles by various authors, following the English translation of a brief note by Paul Ehrenfest [2] who applied a Lorentz contraction to the rim of a rotating disk, whose radius was not contracted. This is plainly wrong: Lorentz contractions occur when we...

Vibration Analysis of a Rotating Nanoplate Using Nonlocal Elasticity Theory

The nanostructures under rotation have high promising future to be used in nano-machines, nano-motors and nano-turbines. They are also one of the topics of interests and it is new in designing of rotating nano-systems. In this paper, the scale-dependent vibration analysis of a nanoplate with consideration of the axial force due to the rotation has been investigated. The governing equation and b...

A Generalized Thermo-Elastic Diffusion Problem in a Functionally Graded Rotating Media Using Fractional Order Theory

A generalized thermo-elastic diffusion problem in a functionally graded isotropic, unbounded, rotating elastic medium due to a periodically varying heat source in the context of fractional order theory is considered in our present work. The governing equations of the theory for a functionally graded material with GNIII model are established. Analytical solution of the problem is derived in Lapl...

A statistical test for outlier identification in data envelopment analysis

In the use of peer group data to assess individual, typical or best practice performance, the effective detection of outliers is critical for achieving useful results. In these ‘‘deterministic’’ frontier models, statistical theory is now mostly available. This paper deals with the statistical pared sample method and its capability of detecting outliers in data envelopment analysis. In the prese...

A Randomness Test for Stable Data

In this paper, we propose a new method for checking randomness of non-Gaussian stable data based on a characterization result. This method is more sensitive with respect to non-random data compared to the well-known non-parametric randomness tests.
